Diet & Nutrition
Your pet’s nutrition is a very IMPORTANT part of their overall health.
Obesity in pets is seen as a silent health crisis: over 50% of pets carry excess weight, a staggering number that continues to rise. The consequences of pet obesity creep in quickly and may lead to a number of severe health problems for our pets, from diabetes and arthritis to heart disease and kidney issues. Cats may also be at risk of hepatic lipidosis (fatty liver) and bladder stones. We can help you to improve your pet’s health.
We offer our clients complimentary Diet & Nutrition consultations for their pets with our Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs). Working as a team with our RVTs, you will develop an individualized diet/nutrition plan based on your pets current diet and we can always make other Veterinary exclusive food recommendations. Part of this consultation may be monthly weight checks at the clinic (or at home) to monitor their SUCCESS.
